This week’s FIP Bronze Island Padel Jersey is the third world tour event to be held on British shores this year and features plenty of home hopes of success.
The women’s draw at Island Padel in Jersey is particularly stacked with Brits, with GB no.1 Aimee Gibson the highest-ranked home favourite. She’s joined by recent FIP Euro Padel Cup team-mates Catherine Rose, Tia Norton, Lisa Phillips, Hanna Maddock and Rosie Quirk.
Aimee, the world no.93, will partner Portugal’s Catarina Santos and they head in as fifth seeds. Lea Godallier of France and Spaniard Patricia Martinez Fortun (the world no.57 and 58 respectively) are top seeds.

GB No.3 Louie Harris is one of seven British men confirmed for the main draw. Harris will team up with GB colleague Chris Salisbury, while Cameron Dollimore and Ben Phillips are also set to compete.

The FIP Bronze Jersey Island event gets underway with the qualifying rounds on Wednesday 6 August, while the main draw commences on Friday 8 August.
The event is being hosted at Island Padel – a state-of-the-art facility that boasts three indoor floodlit courts and two outdoor floodlit courts. Spectators can attend free of charge.
The FIP Bronze Island Padel Jersey marks the second FIP Bronze event held on British soil this year, following the FIP Bronze at HOP Padel Club in London back in May. April’s FIP Silver R3 Bullpadel Cup was the UK’s first ever Silver-level tournament and the second will take place at Stratford Padel Club in London on 6-12 October.
