Padel’s move into the mainstream continues apace with news that a UK production company is to launch the sport’s own version of F1 streaming series ‘Drive to Survive.’

The show, with the working title ‘Padel Planet’, is set to premiere in Q2 2026 on a leading global VOD streaming platform, and may lead to a further surge in awareness for the sport.

Season 1 launches with six episodes. Produced in English and translated into several languages, it will bring padel to a new audience – focusing on the wider lifestyle, travel, and wellness scene surrounding the sport.

The production takes viewers on a journey across the globe through more than 20 countries, uncovering the sport’s rise in some of the most extraordinary and unexpected locations.

With travel and adventure at its heart, the show highlights some of the world’s most breathtaking locations: from iconic urban courts to remote beaches and mountain backdrops, meeting everyday players, A-List celebrities and some of the key people behind the sport.

The show’s creator, Paul Woodman, best known as the presenter of Amazon Prime Video’s ‘On the Road’ series, said: “If there’s one story in sport that’s really caught people’s imagination over the past few years, it’s padel.

“It’s fun, it’s fast, and it’s hugely addictive. We’re taking you on a global adventure, full of energy and surprises, showcasing the incredible places and amazing people who make this sport so unique. And the best part: you don’t even have to be a padel fan to love the show.”

Production has begun with its world premiere slated for Q2 2026. Further details, including the platform and full line-up will be announced in the coming months.
