Great Britain have kept faith with both men’s and women’s squads for the 2025 FIP Euro Padel Cup Final 8 in Cadiz, Spain (21-25 October).

The GB teams selected by captains Sandy Farquharson and Libby Fletcher are unchanged from those which sealed qualification for the climatic stage by finishing top of their groups in Phase 2 of the competition in Madrid in July.

The upcoming Final 8 of the FIP Euro Padel Cup brings together the top padel nations from across the continent to compete for the chance to be crowned European champions at the La Linea de la Concepcion in Cadiz.

Teams will compete in two groups of four teams in a round-robin format, with the top two nations from each group progressing to the semi-finals.

The GB women’s team come in as the No.5 ranked team and the men’s as No.7. They will have to battle it out alongside some of the best teams in the world, including Spain, Italy, Portugal and France.

In the women’s team, Aimee Gibson and Catherine Rose lead the side – both currently ranked inside the world’s top 100. The experienced Tia Norton and team-mate Lisa Phillips also played a big role in GBs run in qualification, including important wins against Sweden in the group-deciding tie.

On the men’s side, the partnerships of Christian Medina Murphy and Sam Jones, as well as Louie Harris and Alex Loughlan will be hoping to build on their 100% win records from Madrid.

Several players made their GB debuts in Madrid: Loughlan, Tom Farquharson, Jamie Lobo, Rosie Quirk and Laura Jackson.
