The world-renowned Farquharson brothers, co-creators of The Padel School, are opening their first British academy at Padel Maidenhead in Berkshire.

Sandy and Tom Farquharson aim to address the scarcity of truly world-class padel coaching in Britain by offering structured programmes and an environment which fosters long-term progress into high-level competition.

GB national performance coach Sandy and younger brother Tom, a former tennis pro who made his GB debut at last month’s FIP Euro Padel Cup, created The Padel School in 2019. It has since become the world’s leading online padel coaching platform, with over 80 million views this year alone.

Having delivered in-person coaching clinics together at clubs all over the world, the siblings have decided to set up permanent academies to spread the message in some of padel’s growth territories.

Earlier this year, they founded two Padel School Academy locations — the first at The Replay Club in Boynton Beach, Florida, and another at Coalition Padel in Johannesburg.

Both brothers feel Padel Maidenhead provides the ideal environment for their first British coaching base.

Tom said: “From the start, we knew we didn’t just want a venue — we wanted the right partner. A club that shares our passion and vision for providing the highest quality of coaching to every single player who steps on the court.

“This isn’t just about one-off sessions — it’s about building something lasting, consistent, and transformative for every player who walks through those doors.

“Padel Maidenhead will join our growing global academy network, and we can’t wait to help more players level up, wherever they are.”

Sandy added: “Every coach will be trained in The Padel School methodology—the same system that has already helped thousands of players around the world. Coaching that’s not about feeding balls, but about developing players and creating a positive, challenging, and fun learning environment. I couldn’t be more excited to get started.”
